TGIF: Low Battery
It's Friday. It's finally Friday.
There wasn't a single evening this week that I didn't have something on my calendar. For an introvert, that's a recipe for disaster.
Unfortunately, the weekend is also packed to overflowing. Not a lot of relief there.
For the most part, it's enjoyable stuff with amazingly wonderful people. But again, introvert. My battery is going to be drained dry unless I take moments for quality alone time.
I don't know how it happened. Well, yes I do. A couple reschedules, a disregard for how full my schedule was. An unrealistic view of what I could handle.
And the second season of Westworld started. So did the second season of The Handmaid's Tale. And the latest season of Vikings is now on Hulu. New episodes of Supergirl are on. I have 5 books from the library all due in 2 weeks (and can't be renewed).
I'm feeling like I need an extra 10 hours to my week (or day).
But there is Avengers: Infinity War on Sunday evening. I can't even tell you how excited I am. I have been waiting 10 years to see this movie. I'm guessing my son and I will be seeing it in the theater more than once.
Are going to see Avengers?
