TGIF: Recharged and ready to go

Welcome back! I know I've been supper quite lately. Life been, well, it's been life. With summer rolling around, I started throwing myself into my powerlifting training and returned to aerial. Plus, I have to leave for work about 45 minutes earlier than during the school year. It all just means that the changes in my routine hit me hard and my creativity (and energy) took a nose dive.

I just didn't have anything left.

And now that summer is sadly coming to a close, I'm just now getting this routine down and feeling a bit more energized. So, here I am again. But I'm starting back slow with another Friday Finds post. Hope you enjoy!

For a giggle, check out the Wanna Play House comics.

Nothing can take away your worth. If you don't believe me, Jeremy Anderson explains why.

I suck at running, but maybe these tips will help.

White women's fear.

From the first note, this soundtrack gave me goosebumps of pure joy. Yes, I am really late to the game on this one.

Quote of the week

When Lauren Groff was asked how she manages life as a working mother, her response was perfect - "I understand that this is a question of vital importance to many people, particularly to other mothers who are artists trying to get their work done, and know that I feel for everyone in the struggle. But until I see a male writer asked this question, I’m going to respectfully decline to answer it.”
